About RAVE Rural Animal Volunteer Effort
Our History
RAVE Rural Animal Volunteer Effort was founded in 2020 by a passionate animal lover who wanted to make a positive impact in her community. Since its inception, RAVE has rescued, rehabilitated, and found forever homes for countless animals in need. Wilma, the founders beloved redbone coonhound that tragically passed away from cancer, serves as the inspiration behind our logo and mission.
Our Team
Please note that RAVE is a one-woman show. The use of 'we', 'our', and 'us' refers to the dogs and me, as I am the director, rescue crew, adoptions coordinator, transporter, kennel technician, dog walker, medical assistant, daily caregiver, and everything in between. While I joke about being Superwoman, my abilities are purely human.
Applications can take as long as 7 days to process on occasion. To ensure efficient use of resources, please refrain from submitting an application unless you have given it thorough consideration and concluded that this adoption aligns with your goals at present as a whole family.
I appreciate your patience when waiting for my response to your email, as it may take a couple of days. Unscheduled phone calls can be difficult due to my packed schedule. If you would like to arrange a meeting, almost any day of the week is feasible after noon, which allows me to focus on my morning routines. However, please provide at least 48 hours' notice so that we can plan ahead and make sure our meeting runs smoothly amidst my tight schedules.

Every single photo of an animals on our website is an animal that is or has been in our care. They are not stock photos or some other photos we found on the internet. Please respect that and do not take them for personal/business use without explicit written permission from the .
