The Pet Food Paw-ntry was created to support local residents in caring for their pets by providing free pet food to those who indicate need. The food distributed is intended to supplement the pet's monthly food needs and to reduce the financial burden associated with pet care.
We never want pet parents to have to choose between feeding their beloved animals and going without an equally important need. The main of The Pet Food Paw-ntry is to keep companion animals in their loving homes and prevent their surrender to the shelter system by supplying families with pet food in times of hardship.
Dog and cat food is generously donated by our community so that we are able to provide monthly pick-ups for households in need. *Dropoffs can be arranged is special case scenarios.
By donating a bag of pet food to The Pet Food Paw-ntry, you’re relieving a significant financial pressure for someone in need — keeping families together and pets out of the shelter.
The simplest way to donate pet food is to order online through our Amazon Wishlist.
We accept donations of any type of dry or wet dog and cat food.
Livestock/Poultry food is also appreciated since we are in a rural area many families do have some form of farm animals.
The Pet Food Paw-ntry offers temporary assistance to help individuals and families in need feed their pets and should not be viewed as a permanent source of pet food.
Every request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The Pet Food Paw-ntry does not donate to anyone breeding, selling or flipping animals and it reserves the right to refuse anyone under any circumstance.
The Pet Food Paw-ntry will provide food for up to five pets per household. Food may be picked up once per month for each animal who is enrolled in the program. Limit of 50lbs of food per animal.
We may not be able to fill special requests for certain types of food. However, we will try to abide by allergy restrictions when donations allow.
Any pet owner who wishes to receive food for their pet through The Pet Food Paw-ntry is asked to complete an enrollment form BEFORE the first time they come to pick up food, if at all possible. After enrolling, when they show up at The Pet Food Paw-ntry, pet owners will be given an identification card that must be provided during each subsequent visit.
